LipoSelection® by VASER is an advanced surgical technique that breaks up and removes fatty tissue. Unwanted fat can be efficiently removed from abs, arms, back, hips, knees, love handles, neck and chin, saddlebags, thighs - any place you've developed a little "extra cushioning."
The VASER System uses ultrasound energy to break up and emulsify fat, leaving surrounding tissue, such as nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue relatively intact. The LipoSelection procedure uses ultrasound to emulsify fatty tissue by means of a cannula designed to minimize tissue trauma during the procedure thus causing less pain and bruising. LipoSelection® procedure allows our surgeons to work with such precision that they can shape delicate areas like the inner thighs, arms, chin and neck.
Fatty tissue consists primarily of adipose (fat) cells, but it also contains other important tissues, including nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue (see graphic illustration below).
The VASER System utilizes proprietary ultrasound technology to break up fatty tissue before removal.
Sound energy, similar to that used to remove a cataract from the eye, fragments fatty tissue. Fat cells, which are large and soft, break apart (think of how easily a full water balloon will burst) while leaving nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue largely undisturbed.
Because the sound energy leaves other surrounding tissue relatively intact, patients and physicians report low to minimal pain and low to minimal swelling and bruising.
Once, emulsified fat is removed with minimal disturbance to important structural tissue; yielding smooth results (see graphic illustration below).

The first consultation
With Beauty Renaissance the first consultation is free of charge and is always with your surgeon who will assess and discuss your desired results.
The surgeon will also answer all your questions and discuss the expectations that the client may have therefore the surgeon will recommend the best solution for the procedure.
Anesthesia
The areas that are to be treated are filled with a special anesthetic solution that diminishes the blood loss during the procedure. This procedure can be done under general anesthesia or intravenous sedation.
Duration of the intervention
The duration varies, depending on the amount of areas and volume that is to be treated, from 1 to 4 hrs.
Recovery
The great advantage of the LipoSelection® is a shorter recovery period.
Will there be scars?
Incisions that are made in the skin are smaller than 1 cm, and are located in strategic zones so that they are hidden.
Results
The Liposelection® by ultrasound allows the client to obtain a more satisfactory result in the selected areas. The ultrasound stimulates the collagen fibers formation in the skin, producing retraction of the treated areas, and thus a better result.
The result of the operation is spectacular, as the fat disappears during the surgical session.
But the natural thing, after practiced Liposelection®, you must reconsider your habits regarding your diet and a minimum level of exercise.
Follow up
Here at Beauty Renaissance we uphold the highest degree of post operative quality care that goes beyond monitoring. For that reason detailed postoperative controls are made so that the patient feels safe and secure. There are a number of consultations to check that the healing process is without trauma.
The first postoperative consultation is made the following day and the recovery process is followed in detail. The definitive discharge date does not occur until a year after the procedure.
