A great experience
I have wanted to have cosmetic surgery for quite a few years and finally I was able to afford it. The reason I chose to go overseas for surgery was the cost.
As well as researching on the net, I saw a story about Beauty Renaissance in the newspaper. I decided to contact Beauty Renaissance to see what they had to offer. From the moment I spoke to Heather I felt confident that I had chosen the right company for me. Questions and concerns were answered promptly and professionally.
As the time drew nearer to my surgery, I became a little more anxious and Heather was able to answer all my questions and totally putting me as ease. I was impressed by her knowledge, attitude and care. I never felt pressured or made to feel silly by any of my concerns that I sent her way.
The day finally arrived and I was off to have my surgery. I was met at the airport by Heather and from then on she accompanied me as a personal assistant/carer. Heather made me feel comfortable right away.
When we arrived in Buenos Aires it was truly a new experience for me. Travelling from the airport with Heather and our English speaking driver I was feeling very anxious about the landscape of crumbling buildings and obviously poor neighbourhoods. I thought this can't be right and felt like we should turn around and board a plane immediately for NZ.
How wrong I was - as the further we travelled into the city the more our surroundings changed into an exciting metropolis that would be home for 5 weeks.
My apartment was nicely furnished and clean, with daily housekeeping and 24 hour security. The office staff were very helpful and friendly and could speak English.
I was excited to be having my surgeries but still a little anxious as well. When I met my surgeons I was put at ease and reassured I was in very capable and experienced hands. The doctors could speak English too.
Heather accompanied me to all my pre-op appointments.
The hospital facilities were good - clean and comfortable and my driver interpreted for me as needed which was invaluable.
My surgeries went very well, and aftercare was excellent both in hospital and as an outpatient.
I spent 4-5 days in my apartment recovering and Heather did shopping for me and checked on me continuously.
My surgeries were tummy tuck, removal of existing breast implants and reconstruction without implants, some lipsuction on flanks and a facelift.
This required 5 weeks stay in Buenos Aires and towards the end I really wanted to go home, but for recovery I needed to be there for this length of time.
My recovery from my surgeries were surprisingly quick and apart from the first day after, not too much pain.
I have been home now for about 5 weeks, and I am really good. No one can tell that I have had a face lift except me as I look younger and fresher. There are no visible scars that anyone can see except I know where they are.
My scars from my breast and tummy tuck surgeries continue to get better day by day and of course they will take longer to fade but I am extremely happy with the results and so glad that I was able to have the procedures.
I feel so much more confident about my appearance now and would not hesitate to recommend anyone to Heather and her team of surgeons if you are thinking of having cosmetic procedures.
Heather spent 3 months in Buenos Aires researching, searching for and interviewing the best surgeons to perform cosmetic procedures for her clients. She has also had the procedures herself and knows first hand what a client could expect. I know you are in the best hands possible with Heather and her team of surgeons.

They are great!
My experience with Dr. Appiani was very positive. He did an excellent job and took all the time I needed to explain the procedure I was interested in. He answered my questions and was always honest with me about everything. I had a facelift and blepharoplasty in March of 2005, and was so happy with the results that I had a brow lift. The results of my procedures were fantastic. Dr. Appiani is truly an artist. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. Everything about pre-op, follow-up appointments, payments, and all fees was explained in detail. I would and do recommend him and his staff. They are great.
